A while back, when I last wrote about our journey, 3 Little Birds was in a phase of quiet evolution. We were asking hard questions, testing our footing, and committing fully to the long game. We chose not to take shortcuts, opting instead to build something lasting based purely on passion, respect for the trade, and an unyielding standard of care.
Looking back from where we stand today, that long game is officially in motion.
Busy Hands, Deeper Roots
The work hasn't just increased, it has elevated. We’ve grown from taking on individual projects into an expansive network capable of delivering full-service property stewardship. When clients hand us their keys, they aren't just hiring a contractor for a quick job; they’re partnering with a team that looks at the entire life, health, and structural integrity of their home from roof to foundation.
We’ve expanded our footprint across coastal Southern Maine, leaving our mark on complex custom additions, high-performance building envelopes, intricate tile work, artisan decks, and critical winter intervention. Every job finished is another notch in our belt—not just as proof of what we can build, but as proof of how we handle the responsibility that comes with it.
Bigger Iron, Sharper Finesse
Growth in this trade requires the right firepower. Over the past year, we’ve invested heavily in our capability: bigger trucks, heavy-duty trailers, specialized lifts, and advanced equipment built to handle demanding jobsites.
But extra horsepower means nothing without control. While we’ve scaled up our machinery and tooling to hit harder and move faster, our core standard hasn't changed a bit: precision finesse. Whether we’re staging high-elevation envelope restorations or executing micro-gap cedar siding details, the passion for fine craft, clean lines, and building science stays front and center.
